Adrián Pérez is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in the field of Radio Frequency Interference and Signal Processing. Adrian joined the NanoSat-Lab in 2018 as a Software Engineer, working on several projects related to GNSS technologies such as RFI Mitigation and GNSS-R Simulation. He is currently working on the evolution of the FENIX (Front-End GNSS Interference eXcisor) and other RFI detection products for defense and civilian use, as well as researching the potential of Neural Networks for RFI detection and mitigation applied to GNSS services. As part of his involvement in remote sensing payloads for spaceborne applications, he developed high dynamics GNSS receivers, and also a GNSS + GNSS-R simulator for testing instruments’ performance and their resilience to RFI signals. Recently, he is leading a novel Remote Sensing payload for a 3U CubeSat as the winner of the 2nd GRSS Grand Challenge, which will feature RFI detection and location strategies. He is also participating as chair of the “Recent Advances in GNSS-Reflectometry: Cryospheric Applications and Novel Techniques” session in the IGARSS2020 conference
